Higher Education Attracting Huge Investments from the Government

The Saudi Arabia’s government is taking crucial steps to promote higher education in their country. The government universities couldn’t cope with the large number of students every year. Due to this, the government is encouraging higher education in the private sector to fulfill the market needs. According to a new report by RNCOS, Saudi Arabia Education Forecast to 2017”, the Ministry of Higher Education is facilitating investment in higher education by allowing foreign investors to participate and enhance the kingdom’s higher education system.
 
According to our report, Ministry of Higher Education has signed contracts worth SAR 2.64 Billion for the construction of university campuses throughout the country. Further, in order to reduce the demand gap for skilled human resources, kingdom’s government has announced King Abdullah Foreign Scholarship Program that gives opportunity to students to study abroad, and gain education & expertise in specialized courses not offered in the Kingdom.
