Satyam all set to Launch its Campus in Interior China

A campus, in one of the tier two cities of China, will be set up by Satyam Computer Services for cashing in on cash advantages. Projected to be about 75,000 sq. mt. (square meters) this campus will have a capacity to accommodate nearly 2,000 people, most of them being local talent. 
 
“As the middle kingdom is emerging significant in our de-risking plan of North America, we’re exploring every possibility to ramp up operations in China”, as per Virender Aggarwal, who is Satyam’s Senior VP for Middle East, India, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
 
Focus of this campus will be mainly on application, enterprise applications, and application maintenance. Also the company has inaugurated its third facility in China. Spread over 500 sq. mt., the 100-seater development center is situated in Guangzhou Software Park. The facility is designed to increase nearly 1,000 employees towards the end of the year 2008.
