Cherished as an exotic, enchanting and historical destination, India is one of the favorite destinations amongst the American and British tourists.

There has been a gradual increase in the number of foreigners visiting India during the past few years. Increasing at the rate of 11% per annum, the inbound tourism has brought in huge amount of foreign exchange to India, particularly between the years 2003 and 2004.
