According to our latest report, “Vietnam Housing Forecast to 2013”, the Vietnam housing sector continued to witness a satisfactory proliferation in the supply of new housing units and low-cost houses. As the number of households reached to 23.3 Million in 2010, a strong demand for new homes has already arrived and the authorities are adopting measures to tackle it. The total number of households by 2013 is likely to reach 25.5 Million and that offers a huge growth potential for market players.

We have found that the government is primarily concerned for the people who cannot afford high-priced homes, and for it, measures are being taken to augment the supply of low- cost housing units. It is estimated that the Ministry of Construction has made a target to offer 700,000 low-cost houses for 2011-2015. This step has effectively brought out the key success on the part of government and further investment will boost the potential.

The report, “Vietnam Housing Forecast to 2013”, provides an extensive research and objective analysis of the Vietnam housing sector by effectively investigating the recent market trends and their impact on the market development. The report also identifies the key drivers and illustrates their relationship with market growth. The macroeconomic factors analysis seeks to provide clients with an overall economic environment in the country.

The report covers almost all the key aspects in the fast growing Vietnam housing sector that identifies the possible growth areas for the expansion of industry. On the future outlook, the report provides basis for the forecast of housing demand and number of households. While providing forecast, a correlation between past market trends and growth in base drivers has been established. Last though not the least, the report provides an effective description of the key market players and their developments.
