Hearing loss is a major public health concern with substantial economic and societal costs. The number of people suffering from hearing loss of more than 25db is estimated to increase to a value of more than 900 Million by 2025. This data highlights the rising prevalence of hearing loss in people all over the world. Hearing implants are a better alternative as compared to the other devices, such as hearing aids, that which help people with hearing loss. Therefore, the global market for hearing implants is bound to increase at a steady pace in the coming years due to the rise in the demand of these devices.
