World Economic Forum Survey Highlights Taiwan's Tourism Potential

Taiwan is the country, which ranks 4th in Asia because of its tourism attraction and in world it's ranking is 30th, this is said by Council for Economic Planning and Development (CEPD), after going through the survey by World Economic Forum.

"This indicates Taiwan has lots of potential in developing a robust tourism industry. In future, the government will focus more on holding major international events and contests to make Taiwan even more visible," said by CEPD in news, published on
The China Post.

In 2006, 3.52 million tourists visited Taiwan and tourism revenue made up 4.52% of Taiwan's GDB. All these figures were taken into account to allocate the rankings.

The Taiwan people not only enjoyed disposable income but also relaxing time, a comfortable living, and more wealth over the past few years. Most importantly, it has developed an increase of wish to continue relaxing activities like tourism and traveling in the country.

Very truly, the increasing steady middle class residents of Taiwan are high on business, joy, and enjoyment as well as for exciting and adventurous tours to many places around the globe.

In travel regards, Taiwan people are increasingly becoming famous and advanced throughout the world. There is a package of traditional uniform tour in which business remains abundant. The tourists, who are well aware of Taiwan, discover freedom and get no problem in planning their tour. There are many marketing occasions in the country created, like luxury cruises, care and beauty vacation, exploring travel, language ideas study and tour guide which increase the pleasure more.

The government of Taiwan is keeping its focus on some main areas such as, Taipei 101, Sun Moon Lake, National Palace Museum, Alishan, Taroka Gorge and Kenting.

RNCOS, "Taiwan is an island of tourism just because of its great geographical position, natural resources and diversified population. All these contribute in the tremendous growth of Taiwan tourist industry."
