First gate5, then Yahoo Search and now 'Live Search', Nokia is looking to revolutionize mobile searching.
Nokia has announced that it has teamed up with software giant Microsoft Corporation to offer its 'Live Search' on Nokia Mobile devices, therefore, allowing users to use 'Live Search' through their Nokia N-series computers and other compatible Nokia devices. 'Live Search' will offer search results available in 14 different languages, aiming to provide 'on-the-go' access to customers with the content they need.
'Live Search' will offer advanced search performance with fast and simple access to stocks, movies and facts using 'Encarta Instant Answers'. It will allow quicker access to search results than a regular browser, as search will be provided on the menu display screen on most of the devices.
Ralph Eric Kunz of Nokia said that 'Live Search' would provide their customers with powerful and unique ways to search Internet on Nokia media computers and other compatible devices. He dedicated the platform of Mobile Search towards creating an experience for users, which is easily accessible and properly integrated into the device.
"Few days back, Nokia announced that it'll offer Yahoo Search on its selected devices. Nokia is looking to offer better searching capabilities on its mobile devices as part of its strategy. Don't be surprised if you see more deals like this", said an analyst at RNCOS.
John DeVitis of Microsoft said that Microsoft is pleased to offer 'Live Search' on Nokia devices. He said 'Live Search' provides users with unique control and personalization features, providing them with an easy Internet search tool with instant and targeted results from their Nokia devices.
